It All Begins with Individualized Education

Sudbury Montessori offers each child an individualized education. Our classroom environment is child centered and encourages a child’s natural curiosity and love for learning. At our school, every child learns at their own pace and enjoys freedom of choice in a supportive and peaceful atmosphere.

Sudbury Montessori classrooms are bright and beautiful spaces. They are designed so that children work freely and independently once their teacher has given them lesson assignments. Our specialized materials are designed to keep the child learning and engaged once the lesson has been given. Through play and exploration, our students discover the information on their own, as opposed to being “taught and trained” by a teacher. Engaged learning and self-confidence are natural outcomes of this natural process of learning and discovery.

Our educators are formally educated and certified by high quality Montessori training programs. All Montessori teachers require state certification.
